Lavender Heights Bed and Breakfast is available for your special events throughout the year! We provide a unique, private location in close proximity to downtown historic Fredericksburg and Stafford. Whether you are hosting a wedding, retirement luncheon, holiday party, business meeting or military celebration, we can take care of you. A simple wedding for two or a tented outdoor reception for 120, we can accommodate you! Our location is the perfect venue for the happy couple, wedding party and out-of-town guests, with four beautifully appointed guest rooms.
Lavender Heights Bed and Breakfast offers a variety of garden settings on the grounds or under the gazebo next to the koi pond; in the woods overlooking the magnificent three-mile view; or nestled under a wisteria arbor. For indoor events, we can host a small wedding; cocktail-style reception in the parlor; or an elegant, sit-down tea, luncheon or dinner surrounded by the glow of a warm fire. We offer simple, ceremony-only packages for small, intimate weddings without the fuss of decorating, food and beverage. We provide the location; you provide the officiant! Bring your groom and guests for an intimate ceremony inside, or outside in the beautiful gardens. We offer the following:

Your Intimate Wedding (up to 10 people) starting at $95

  • Ceremony in the garden or parlor
  • On-site parking

“Your Closest Friends and Family” Wedding (up to 20 people) starting at $275

  • Ceremony in the garden or parlor
  • On-site parking
  • Seating for your guests

“Your Aunt From Juneau is Coming” Wedding (up to 50 people) starting at $975

  • Ceremony in the garden or parlor
  • On-site parking
  • Use of the venue for four (4) hours for your decorating, ceremony and clean up
  • Chairs, ivory covers and ice-blue or sheer-black sashes for your guests to include set up and take down

Wedding Receptions

We offer the following wedding reception packages to accommodate small or large groups! Add your wedding ceremony to any package for $350. You can also enjoy the exclusive use of Lavender Heights Bed and Breakfast by renting the entire property for the weekend. We provide you with a comfortable place to stay. Prepare for your big day, and relax with friends and family after you toss your bouquet!


“Toss the Garter” Reception (up to 50 people) starting at $1800

  • Use of grounds or home up to six (6) hours to include set up and clean up
  • Tables and linens to include set up and take down
  • Chairs, ivory covers and ice-blue or sheer-black sashes to include set up and take down
  • On-site parking

“Stroll the Gardens” Reception (up to 80 people) starting at $2750

  • Use of grounds up to six (6) hours to include set up and clean up
  • Tables and linens to include set up and take down
  • Chairs, ivory covers and ice-blue or sheer-black sashes to include set up and take down

“Take the Heights” Reception (up to 120 people) starting at $4950

  • All four guest rooms for two (2) nights with full breakfasts
  • Exclusive use of grounds for 48 hours
  • Tables and linens to include set up and take down
  • Chairs, ivory covers and ice-blue or sheer-black sashes to include set up and take down
